Pinterest: Sometimes it's the Activity

Hello and happy Monday.  This is my 3rd in a series on how to use Printerest as outfit inspiration.  As I have blogged about in the past I have a Pinterest board for different occasions and inspirations.  The things I choose to pin have to fit my life and, yes my style.  I do have a bit of a tendency to dress outside of the lines but  lately it's been pretty simple and comfy.  I try to pick outfits that have elements that I already own but still inspire me to put the pieces together in ways I haven't considered.  By doing this I have expanded my closet's potential tremendously.  I honestly haven't bought anything new in the last 3 months.  And, better yet I don't feel the need to add anything.  If anything I need to keep purging.  Oh, the one new thing I did add is fleece leggings............let me tell you those babies rock and they were at Marshall's for $5.99.  I wear a pair at some point everyday.

I would post more often but, due to my lack of mobility (note: rolator 5000 next to me).  I have a hard time setting the timer on my camera and making it back to my chosen spot.  I have found a wonderful new gadget or really it's an App for my Iphone called VAPP.  It's voice activated and works fantastic.  All you have to do is set up your shoot then set the sound bar to the level of noise that you want the shot to be taken and poof it's done.  The other great thing is that you can take multiple shots.  You do have to yell a little louder since the sound bar goes back to it's normal setting.  It'll take me a few times to get it right but for now It is making me mega happy! One thing I haven't figured out yet is how to move the pictures from VAPP to the photos folder so I can download them to my laptop.  I did a work around and just emailed them to myself.
Hopefully I'll be able to post more until I go back to work.

Here is my inspiration for this week.  The young and beautiful Hayden Panettiere from the new TV series Nashville.  It happens to be one of the shows the Man I have chosen to watch this year.  I must be in a mellow mood since I didn't add a few lbs to the inspiration photo this week.  I'm sure that mood will pass quickly!

Nothing to update on the hip issue.  I go back to the Dr. in 15 days.  However I did feel like this weekend was a bit of a turning point so keep those Prayers coming to me as well as our friends on the East Coast.

Please be responsible and don't forget to Vote tomorrow!

  9. SUPER-cute. I'm inspired by both these photos. I have a similar inspiration photo pulled from a magazine that's black leggings, turtleneck and booties worn with a denim shirt, no belt, and a statement necklace.
