What's Black and White and Red all over?

A newspaper silly...........Which is what I feel like in black and white with a red clutch!

I've been away from bloggy land for a while.  I left my camera at the cabin and I actually felt lost without it.
I tried taking IPhone pictures using the mirror, they were so butt ugly that they went straight to the little trash thingy at the bottom of the phone!
Also, my Mom came up to see me and I have been spending every spare minute with her.  If any of you remember my Dad passed away in June.  They were married for almost 50 years.
She lives 150 miles from me so our normal mode of communication is the phone.  I am so proud of her.  She actually bought a lap top.............And by next week she'll have internet!

Soooooooooooooo, back to this little challenge.  When I first saw this outfit, I thought it was doable.
The shorts are about 10" to short and I didn't think I could wear my little booties without looking like Gromble from that old cartoon Real Monsters., but doable none the less.
So I gave it a shot.  Walking shorts for silver style ladies, Black and white jacket and yes the booties.
So walk down this crazy little path that my buddies over at Two Birds has again inspired in me.   http://twobirdsboutique.blogspot.com/

  4. Well you did a great job with this! It's great how you translate these inspirations into something that YOU'RE comfortable wearing - not an exact replica! I've been wondering where you've been....so glad you're back!!! Hugs! ~Serene

  9. You look awesome Tammy darling. Such class and distinction from head to toe. Proud of your mom too. I wish my mom would get a laptop. I post all of these photos of her and she only sees them when she goes to her girlfriend's house to visit. Anyway, welcome back and don't disappear again. Dawn Suitcase Vignettes

  11. Tammy, I think with your bermuda shorts that a strappy, white or nude heel would be more flattering. The black short cuts the leg in half, then the booties cut the ankle shortening your leg. To keep the leg length with that style of short, you need the eye to keep going with a paler shoe.
