Hanging out with Emma Stone and the Two Birds

This weekend while at our cabin a tornado warning was issued and  we were all evacuated to a"safe place".  Somebody has some "splaining" to do since this is a lake community and noooobody has a basement .
Earlier that day we went to the volunteer fireman's benefit breakfast (yes that is how small this town is)  I happened to ask of of the fire dudes if the firehouse was considered a  "safeplace"  He actually laughed at me. When I batted my 53 year old eyes at him and asked what he suggested....He told me I might as well dig a hole.  So, just a few short hours later we were looking for the shovel.. We ran for cover (don't try running in the rain while wearing flip flops at home.)  to our friends cottage that was built in the 20's. Our logic was nothing had knocked it down so far.
Fortunately all was well and the storm blew right past us.  There were a few scary moments when the only shovel I could find was a small planting spade.
The reason I am writing about this is because in this picture I'm not sure if I look like the wicked witch or Auntie Em.
You decide, we'll report..
I like the length of the skirt.  I don't believe in rules for style. So if you've got the gams.  I say strut them.  Unfortunately I don't.  I wear my skirts and dresses at least knee length........Oh the days, the days!
So let the wind blow you on over to see the sweet, Two Birds and link up! http://twobirdsboutique.blogspot.com/2011/05/inspiration-day-memorial.html
