The Wonder Of Being Mimi

In September I posted about the gift of our first Grandson.  My husband and I had reservations to fly to Seattle for the anxiously awaited arrival of this little bundle.  Three weeks before the due date I took a failed flying lesson up the stairs and broke my hip.  Needless to say the trip had to be cancelled and I was devastated.  My recovery is coming along and knowing that I will be returning to work soon we made a last minute decision to fly out there last Saturday.

The trip went very well.  I was given fantastic treatment by the airline and kindly treated by other passengers.  Due to my recent lack of activity it was exhausting.  It'll take me a few more days to get back on my feet.

I just wanted to take this opportunity to share a photo or two (or 10) of our Little Man.  This Mimi is in Grandma heaven right now!!!

No matter how you feel about babies or what type of day you are having...........just consider this a feel good gift from me to you.,  I dare you not to smile!

He was all shits and giggles (literally)

He is da Little Man!  (No Mimi influence here)

Night, night little one.  Mimi will take of you!

Have a wonderful weekend and be back with you soon!

  5. Yay!! I'm so happy for you that you got the opportunity to cuddle him. Babies are the ultimate pick-me-up! All the more so as a newly minted grandma, I'd imagine. Thanks for sharing.
