I had so many things I wanted to say in this post. Now that I am finally trying to write it my mind is blank.
So, I'll just start rambling and see where it takes me.
This was a really low key weekend. The cold that was creeping around came to visit with a vengeance on Friday and just to be friendly stayed around for the weekend. So, I being the good hostess that I am stayed home with it.
I took these pictures Sunday afternoon. You'll notice I have on shades. That's because it's a beautiful sunny day in the Midwest............not!!!, it's really because I finally put on "real" clothes and didn't have the energy or desire to put on makeup. As soon as the pictures were taken I was back in my fluffy pants and huge chenille sweater.
I decided to make this post a short one. I need to rest up for tomorrow! After all it's not everyday that EBEW and Pretty Shiny Sparkly have a coordinated link up. It's almost like a fashion bloggers Superbowl!
So get some rest ladies and bring on the red!!!!!
Today I am linking up with two of my favorite sites. Patti @Not Dead Yet Style for visible Monday and Two Birds: Inspiration Monday
Here is the inspiration for the Two Birds link up. I tweaked it a bunch. Maybe if I were her age or at least had her money I would style it like she did. But, I'm 54, have to be at work in an hour and just won't wear skinny jeans unless my ass is covered. Actually covering your ass is good advice no matter how you look at it!
Outfit stats:
Jacket: Thrifted 2.50
Jeans: Thrifted 2.50
Paired scarves Thrifted
Attitude and smile: Priceless
You did a great job with your inspiration! I really have my eye open for a red jacket! And you shouldn't have told us about the make up...you cannot tell a thing! You look great...
ReplyDeleteTammy--I like your take so much better then the original!! Now I need a red jacket!!
ReplyDeleteI love red and now I will be searching for a red jacket! You look fabulous in this outfit regardless of age and your ass is spectacularly covered. Wait a minute...are those snowshoes behind you. Do you use them?
ReplyDeleteI agree with Pam - I would not know you had skipped the make-up, you look terrific! Love that red jacket. Hope your Monday goes well, and thanks so much for linking up!
ReplyDeleteSunglasses! What a great idea! I never feel like putting on make-up when doing outfit photos, either (because I usually do them on days I"m staying in). You look terrific, and I now think that a red jacket is a necessity.
ReplyDeleteI very rarely wear makeup in my photos. You look fab and I too think your outfit is better than the inspiration photo.
ReplyDeleteving your look today! red looks great on you, and i love these flare jeans!
ReplyDeleteThat is a very cool outfit and you look very chic.
