This is a fun challenge. I always enjoy seeing all the thrifty finds. If I could only find a thrifty find on a new laptop life would be sweet. Soooooooo. In the mean time, I'll struggle along.
Life has been good this last week. All three our boy's were home and we enjoyed a lot of 4th. festivities together (One of the festivities was beer pong on my deck). I really need to lay the law down on those goofs.
When Navy Boy left Tuesday I was sad. But on the other hand I was so damn tired I could barely function!
When that boy leaves it's almost like he sucks the air out of the house.......So for now peace reigns!
So hope to see you at Spunky Chateau!
My outfit is head to toe thrifted.
Starting at the top
Camisole: GW silk with really cool, gold embroidery 2.50
Skirt: GW I really love this one 1.50
Shoes GW cutest wedges with tiny, little strings 2.00
Belt GW the mother load---Aeropastale 1.00
Purse Another great, yard sale find. I think I paid 1.00 for it and it's so cool (see the lady on the front)
My jewelry is a mix of thrifted and purchased. My underwear I simply don't remember!
Admiring the purse! Kudos on wearing all thrifted! My undies come from W*****t, the store that shall not be named.
ReplyDeleteHi Tammy. You're looking like a pretty chic hippy chick - loving that top and your bag! Thanks for your email (I was cracking up!) and for stopping by my blog. I'm following you now and I'm looking forward to more laughs!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Seriously, this is like something you'd see in a magazine! I love that it's all thrifted!!! There are just so many deals and they just keep coming! I'm lovin' all over that purse! Hugs! ~Serene
ReplyDeleteYou're funny! Your outfit is so thrifty and you rock the look! The belt is gorgeous. Did you say it's $1? Amazing!

I don't know why anyone would want to take the hippie out of the girl. The 70's were a free time and a lot about that time is something we need now with the economy. I always wanted to be a hippie, free love and all. So if I could look as good as you do I'd embrace the 70's.
ReplyDeleteTammy, This may be my favorite look of yours yet! I love faded jeans with white or cream tops. The clutch is great and it's amazing that's it's completely thrifted. I love everything about the 70's, too. For those of us who grew up in it, it's a style that we're always going to love, don't you think? Since we're going for the 70's vibe, I think I'll say this is a foxy look! Debbie http://thriftygirlvintage.com
ReplyDeleteTammy, I forgot to mention I loved the belt and how you're wearing it, too. And I meant to say faded denim...I do see you've got a skirt, on! Debbie
ReplyDeleteI'm really loving your accessories here. Though the whole look is great. What a fabulous denim maxi! Great thrifted finds!

Very chic! Love the chunkiness of the belt and the femininity of your top. Gorgeous mix. I've had a couple of very busy weeks - I miss blogging, but unfortunately, it doesn't pay the bills, visit mom in the hospital, and the list could go on. Reality bites, doesn't it ; )
ReplyDeleteHow fantastic and ethnic, Tammy.
ReplyDeleteLoving your clutch.
I thought I had you in my blogroll, adding you now.
