Being a thrifter is somewhat of a curse, I do tend to buy to much and then when I find it I'm often at a loss on where it came from. This outfit is definitely not thrifted and I now remember each purchase and the reason I bought each piece. We were headed to the Key's a couple of years ago and I wanted something bright, exciting and I guess as much as I hate to admit it age appropriate.
The capri's are ok, I really like the new longer skinny style and I have a few pairs of pants in the craft room just waiting to be nipped and tucked.
What a cute outfit!! I have been so busy this week I forgot about EBEW...thanks for the reminder...I need to go look at the outfits. You did a great job!
ReplyDeleteI love the top! I had to sit out the neon challenge myself.
ReplyDeleteCould you tell me how you arranged the top you wore on Monday? I love the way you've draped it with the scarf. Best wishes.
ReplyDeleteIt's not just the over 50s that don't do neon much; neither do I (at this rate I'll be wearing nothing but beige when I get to that age). Very slowly and cautiously I'm building the odd piece into my wardrobe. I love some of the colours but they don't tend to suit my skin tone so I'm careful what complementary colours to wear. That being said, I think a lot of trends can be interpreted for all ages depending on things like cut or fabric of the item. This top looks great on you.
