Winter has finally arrived in the Chicago area. It if so flipping cold and I have so many layers on I feel like a tick ready to pop!
What you can't see in this outfit are tights, socks, a turtle neck and crochet vest. I have another layer or two to add before we walk out the door
This is what I'm wearing to go out to an early dinner/late lunch with the Man.
A smarter woman would have made sure we went out before the sun went down. I've never bragged about my common sense so off we go in the wild cold tundra!
I keep trying the boyfriend jean thing. I think I'm just to curvey to pull it off. One day I might even learn to quit trying. These jeans usually fit looser which is how I prefer. However, the Man was on laundry duty this weekend and everything got washed and dried. They will fit perfectly after a few hours.
I am sporting my new little booties! I am in bootie heaven........Somehow I don't think that sounds right!
I will be posting a new Trending link up this week. It's going to be all about layering.......Keep an eye out and be sure to stop by to show how your age decade styles one of this winter's most practical trends.
Today I am linking up with Two Birds Inspiration Monday and showing Patti @ Not Dead Yet Style some blogger love for visible Monday.
So have fun be inspired, visible and most of all be yourself!
My inspiration
You look great, Tammy! And I feel like such a wimp complaining about tonight's low temps (45 degrees! electric blanket!) Love your boots too. And thanks for linking up to Visible Monday, my friend.

ReplyDeleteI love your version of this and I don't think you're too curvy for it!! (and LOVE the slippers- I've lost one of my sheepskin slippers and I am missing it like crazy!!!!)
ReplyDeleteYou look better than the inspiration photo. I love how you tied the scarf! So cool.
ReplyDeleteGREAT LAYERING!
ReplyDeleteBootie heaven- love it! ;) I hear you- it is freeeeezing cold here in Ottawa so layers are essential. Great leopard print scarf and your jeans look pretty darn good to me!
ReplyDeleteYou're rockin' the boyfriend jeans, but I know what you mean about jeans that don't feel comfy for the first few hours. I agree with Debbie, you DO look better than the inspiration photo.
ReplyDeleteI think you look fantastic in those jeans! You sure have a fierce ability to put together amazing outfits! I believe you commented once that people say you look "put together"(or did I dream that?haha). Well, you sure do! You're a model of what I strive to attain stylewise. You just exude class...even in your boyfriend jeans!
