Bring it on Old Man Winter!

Many of us just got our first taste of winter. Some of you might enjoy it. I, on the otherhand can't stand it.
I dream for months on end that I am on a sandy beach sipping a cocktail when in reality I am on my couch bundled up in leggings and flannel shirts or some other shapeless bit of warmth!
While I was visiting my Mom last weekend I discovered a new consignment store. The prices were more than reasonable and I ended up with two skirts and a bright plaid scarf all of which I love
Here is what I wore for our first wintery type day. It's perfect for linking up to Thursdays are for Thrifters.

Tomorrow I will be posting my new Trending Through the decades link up.
It'll be warm and cozy and all about fur:  faux real???????????  Stop by and show us how your age decade styles the fur trend.

  3. stylish as always, I love the scarf, the fabric is beautiful! Great accessorizing too. The whole look is elegant and impeccable. Faux fur I love but I don't have, maybe only a tiny little piece of fur on one of my brooches, ha..guess I will just sit back and admire the rest.

  8. Tammy so sorry I missed the last link up. My intentions were good. I just did not get to it darling, sorry. I love linking up but the tunic thing was not working for me. I had one tunic and it needed to be ironed. Not a fan of that at all. Anyway, isn't great when good accessories cost more than your skirt? You look fabulous and classy my lady. Thanks for dropping in. I think you are doing mommy wear soon. I am not a mom but do 5 pets count? Have a great day. Dawn Suitcase Vignettes xo

  14. Beautiful outfit! I love how you've draped the scarf. I am never comfortable wearing mine like this. I guess I must have really bad posture or slouchy shoulders because I can't keep the scarf from slipping off my shoulder and it drives me nuts, so I've given up. haha
